Western Intertrading is an Apparel American Company established in the Dominican Republic for over twenty two years (22), successfully operating in constantly growing, innovating, and trying to find better ways to satisfy all customer with an Excellent product on a record cycle time (turn time).
The Success of our operation in San Pedro de Macoris Free Zone is due to the dedication, of our employees and fine job of all of our people, which including management is one hundred percent Dominican. We have a good nucleus of experienced people that knows how to adjust immediately to the necessary changes as time demands in this competitive business.
Our Quality Oriented Management staff is a Professional crosstrained bilingual team, willing to find everyday ways and means to improve our operations maximizing the results, by giving our people work stability, and maintain at all times our commitment with international regulations, such as: Code of conduct, environmental responsibility, and safety practices.

Buildings in the Old Free Zone, owned by Corporacion de Fomento Industrial,
and the 1 Building we have in the New Chemtec Free Zone (private), for a total
of five (5) buildings and over 163,000 ft2.
Equipment installed, including sewing machines, electronic modern machines to
print labels, pressing machines, and others used in our process are over 1,200
in total. Bar-coded information for Shipping and HangTags as well.
Presently we are running 75 % of capacity, with 900 machines in use, which
allow us room to grow if steady programs come for duration of 6 months or
more. Total Employees at the moment is over 900 in total. |
